SHIPPING POLICY

Effective October 26th, 2007, any address that is not complete, ie: suite number, apartment number, floor number, will have a $5.00 address correction fee added. This includes any address that UPS makes corrections on. Thank you for understanding.

Orders up to $49.99, add $8.00

Orders $50.00 to $79.99, add $11.00

Orders $80.00 to $109.99, add $13.50

Orders $110.00 and up, add $16.00

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will have, at a minimum, an additional $25.00 shipping fee. We will notify you of any additional shipping fees beyond that prior to processing your order.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS - Allow 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. NOTE: Most orders fall into this category.

CUSTOM MADE ITEMS - Allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.

STOCK ITEMS - Allow one week for delivery; these orders are filled within 48 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: These delivery time frames are estimated time frames based on our experience with the manufacturers we deal with and are not guaranteed delivery times; delays and back orders from the manufacturer, although uncommon, do occur. If the estimated delivery time frame has passed and you would like to check the status of your order, send us an email at orders@houseofhandlescorp.com.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

Orders are shipped when they are complete.

We do not ship outside of the United States.

Please make sure the Shipping Address information you provide is correct when ordering. Any fees charged to us by shipping carriers due to incorrect addresses or undeliverable goods will be charged to the credit card used to place that order.

Please make sure the Billing Address information associated with your credit card is correct when ordering. If our credit card verification system finds a mismatch, this could hold up your order, as we will try to obtain/verify further information from you before processing your order.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped to you. Refer to our Return Policy section to return items already shipped to you.

Items that have been received by our warehouse, but have yet to be shipped to you, can be cancelled. In this case however, a restock fee will apply as our manufacturers charge us restock fees to send items back to them. Restock fees can be anywhere from 25% to 50% of the cost of the items being returned. To see if your order can be cancelled, please email us at orders@houseofhandlescorp.com and include your contact information AND order number.

Cancellations are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Items should not be damaged upon receipt as we double pack most of our orders. So even if the outside of the box appears damaged, the contents inside should be fine.

But in the rare event items are damaged:

a) Items damaged during shipping are your responsibility if you sign for the package. We cannot refund or exchange items damaged by the carrier if you sign for the damaged package.

b) If your package arrives and you fear your items may have been damaged AND you decide to not sign for the package, then it will be our responsibility to work with the carrier regarding the possibility of damages to your items and to resend your order. In the event this occurs, email us at orders@houseofhandlescorp.com to notify us that you have refused the package due to possible damage.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Defects are uncommon, and we do check all hardware received from our manufacturers before shipping orders out to you, but in the event you find defective items, please follow the Return Policy.

RETURN POLICY

We must be notified within 48 hours of receipt if you wish to return items to us. Items that can be returned include items sent in error, items no longer wanted and items with a manufacturer defect.

Email us at orders@houseofhandlescorp.com, provide your contact information (name, email, phone number, order number*, return address), the reason for return, and request an RGA number. If the return is approved, we will email you an RGA number which must be on your return package to us. RGA numbers are only valid for 10 days which means you must ship the return package to us within that 10 day time period.

(*Order Number - The Yahoo order number provided on the order confirmation email, or the Sales Order number provided on the paperwork sent with your package. Either order number is acceptable.)

Manufacturers charge us a restock fee anywhere from 25% to 50%; this will be applied to the cost of the items you return to us and deducted from the refund we issue you.

The cost to ship items back to us will not be reimbursed if the reason for return is due to no longer wanting the items.

ITEMS BEING RETURNED MUST BE IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING AND UNOPENED AND PACKED WITH THE SAME CARE AS THE PACKAGE WE SENT TO YOU. OUR MANUFACTURERS DO NOT ACCEPT OPENED OR DAMAGED ITEMS.

All sales are final after 30 days from the customer’s initial receipt.
